Replacing Bosch Range/Cooktop Grade Pads (Pkg of 4)
Step 1: Shut off the electricity to the range before beginning any repairs. Make sure it is completely off and unplugged from the outlet.
Step 2: Locate the two screws on the side panels of the range, near the back. Remove the screws with a screwdriver.
Step 3: Carefully remove the side panel and set it aside. You will now be able to access the top surface of the range.
Step 4: Inspect the condition of the pads. If they are still in good condition, you can skip this step. If they are worn or damaged, they must be replaced before continuing.
Step 5: Using a flathead screwdriver or a small pry bar, carefully remove the four pads from the top surface of the range.
Step 6: Take the new pads out of the package and line them up with the holes in the top surface of the range.
Step 7: Push the pads in firmly, making sure they are securely in place.
Step 8: Reattach the side panel and secure it with the screws.
Step 9: Turn on the power to the range and test to make sure everything is working properly. If not, turn off the power again and recheck your work.
