Step 1: Unplug the Oven – Before starting any repair work, unplug the oven from the wall to avoid electric shocks.
Step 2: Remove the Lamp Cover – Open the oven door and locate the lamp cover on the ceiling of the oven’s interior. Carefully remove the cover by pushing inward and pulling outward.
Step 3: Remove the Bulb – Once the lamp cover is removed, you can access the bulb and unscrew it from its socket. Be sure to handle the bulb carefully, as it may be hot due to being in use recently. Place the old bulb aside.
Step 4: Install the New Bulb – Place the new bulb into the socket and twist clockwise until it is secure. The new bulb should be compatible with the 00166016 Bosch range/oven model.
Step 5: Replace the Lamp Cover – Put the lamp cover back in its place and make sure that it is properly secured.
Step 6: Plug the Oven Back In – Once the new bulb is installed and the lamp cover is in place, plug the oven back in and test the new bulb to make sure it is working properly.
