WPW10153530 Whirlpool Adjuster
The Dishwasher Left Dishrack Adjuster Assembly allows you to customize the location of the appliance’s upper dishrack. This part is for the left side of the dishrack specifically; if you also need to replace the adjuster assembly on the right side of the dishrack, you can order it under item 99003585. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the dishwasher and novice repair experience. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this item. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin. DIY: How to Replace the Whirlpool WPW10153530 Adjuster
Tools You Will Need:
-Phillips head screwdriver
-Socket wrench
-Adjuster replacement part (Whirlpool WPW10153530)
Step 1: Unplug your appliance to ensure you don’t electrocute yourself while working.
Step 2: Find the adjuster you need to replace. It will be located on the rear of the appliance.
Step 3: Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws that are holding the adjuster in place.
Step 4: Disconnect the wires from the adjuster and remove it from the appliance.
Step 5: Take the new adjuster and attach it to the appliance by connecting the wires and securing it with the screws.
Step 6: Use a socket wrench to make sure the adjuster is tightly secured in place, and the wires are properly connected.
