W11517113 Whirlpool Ice Maker Assembly
This Ice Maker Kit fincludes the items required to add an ice-making feature to your current refrigerator. This complete kit includes (1) ice maker assembly, (1) ice bucket, (1) Jumper harness as well as all mounting hardware and installation instructions. Please check your appliance's use and care manual to ensure this is correct for use with your appliance. Installing this assembly will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience. Be sure to unplug the refrigerator or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing. You must also turn off the water supply to the refrigerator before installation.

Replacing the Whirlpool W11517113 ICEMAKER
Materials Needed:
-New icemaker kit (Whirlpool W11517113)
-Phillips head screwdriver
-Small flathead screwdriver
-Safety glasses
Instructions:
1. Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet. Turn off the water supply to the refrigerator.
2. Remove any food from the freezer, and remove the ice bin from the freezer compartment.
3. Use the flathead screwdriver to carefully remove the screws from the front panel around the icemaker.
4. Carefully pull out the icemaker unit from the refrigerator, unplug its electrical connection and remove any mounting brackets or clips used for installation.
5. Install the new icemaker unit in its place, plugging in its electrical connection and securing it with the mounting brackets or clips previously removed.
6. Use the Phillips head screwdriver to reattach the front panel.
7. Turn on the water supply to the refrigerator, and plug the appliance back in to the wall outlet.
8. Allow several hours for the icemaker to begin working properly. Test the icemaker by placing the ice bin underneath the icemaker and making sure ice is being produced.
9. Once ice is being produced, reinstall the ice bin into the freezer compartment.
10. Enjoy your newly replaced icemaker!
