Replacing the W10830307 Whirlpool Refrigerator Glass Shelf
Tools Required: Phillips Screwdriver, Flathead Screwdriver, Replacement Glass Shelf
Step 1: Unplug your refrigerator from the outlet.
Step 2: Remove the shelves that are directly above and below the shelf you are replacing. To do this, use a flathead screwdriver to gently disengage the plastic tabs at the sides of the shelves. When all four tabs have been disengaged, you can lift the shelves out of their tracks.
Step 3: Carefully remove the glass shelf from the frame. To do this, use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws at the top of the shelf. Once the screws are removed, the shelf should come apart easily.
Step 4: Place the new glass shelf into the frame. Secure it in place with the screws you removed in step 3.
Step 5: Reinstall the shelves on either side of the shelf. To do this, simply lift the shelves and line them up with the tracks on the side of the refrigerator. Push them into place until the plastic tabs click into place.
Step 6: Plug your refrigerator back into the outlet.
