Whirlpool Dishwasher PUMP AND MOTOR ASSEMBLY
This Dishwasher Circulation Pump rotates inside the bottom of the appliance to disperse water through the lower spray arm during the cleaning cycle. If your appliance’s current circulation pump is not working or the spray arm won’t receive adequate water, your dishes will not be cleaned properly and replacing this part may alleviate the issue. This kit includes the pump gasket and rubber seal. Installing this part will require basic hand tools and some disassembly of the dishwasher. Previous repair experience will be helpful but is not necessary. Remember to unplug the dishwasher or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to turn off the water supply to your dishwasher before you begin. Helpful Tip: We also recommend using affresh® Dishwasher Cleaner (item W10282479) to help remove limescale and mineral build-up that can be unsightly and affect your dishwasher’s performance. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
