Replacing the Frigidaire 242185670 Door-Refrigerator
Tools Needed:
-Flat head screwdriver
-Phillips head screwdriver
-Pliers
-Utility Knife
Step 1: Disconnect the power to the refrigerator. Unplug the cord from the wall outlet.
Step 2: Remove the screws from the exterior door edges. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws.
Step 3: Pull the door away from the refrigerator. There will be two wires connected to the top of the door. Gently pull them out of the connectors.
Step 4: Place a towel beneath the refrigerator door in order to protect the floor.
Step 5: With a flat head screwdriver, carefully pry away the rubber gasket around the edges of the refrigerator door.
Step 6: Using a utility knife, gently pry away the retainer clips on the sides of the door.
Step 7: With a pair of pliers, loosen the screws that secure the refrigerator door handle.
Step 8: Carefully lift off the old refrigerator door and set aside.
Step 9: Place your new Frigidaire 242185670 Door-Refrigerator into the frame.
Step 10: Secure the door with the screws on the outside of the refrigerator. Make sure the screws are tightly secured.
