Simply turn the existing part 90 degrees on the top and bottom to release if from the appliance. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to shut off the hot and cold water supplies.
