To access the tub ring, tape the washer lid down and remove the top two hinge screws at the back of the appliance that secure the top hinges to the rear panel. Remove the screws to the wiring and hinge cover and remove the cover. Then pull the main top forward and up to access the inside tub. Installing this part will require basic hand tools, minor disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience.
