To replace the part, remove the washer console and disconnect the lid switch to access the old part. Remove the body from the frame of the washer by tilting at a 45-degree angle and lifting it off. Place towels down to catch any water from the hoses when removed. The new pump should slide on easily –don't force it on. If you feel resistance when sliding the pump onto the shaft, you may need to remove any shaft residue left from the previous pump.
