DIY: How to Replace the Speed Queen D516411 Dryer Timer, 3 Cycle 120V/60HZ
Tools Needed
-Phillips Head Screwdriver
-Replacement Dryer Timer
Step by Step Instructions
1. Disconnect the dryer from the power source.
2. Remove the screws at the back of the dryer using a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Carefully lift the top of the dryer to gain access to the frame and electrical connections.
4. Disconnect the wires from the old timer.
5. Install the new timer in the same way as the old one was attached.
6. Connect the new timer to the electrical connections and ensure that they are secure.
7. Replace the screws and close the back panel.
8. Reconnect the dryer to the power source.
