1. Begin by unplugging your Samsung dryer from the wall and moving it away from the wall to access the back panel.
2. Take a close look at the back panel of your dryer to locate the 6602-001655 Samsung drive belt. Unscrew the screws or bolts holding the back panel in place. Do not remove the entire back panel, just open it enough to access the belt.
3. Using pliers, disconnect the tension spring connected to the drum pulley. This will help release the tension on the belt.
4. Gently pull the belt off the drive motor and idler pulley.
5. Line up the new belt around the pulleys, ensuring it is properly seated in all grooves.
6. Tighten the tension spring to hold the belt firmly in place.
7. Check the alignment of the belt and make sure it is fitting snugly on all of the pulleys.
8. Re-attach the back panel and secure the screws or bolts.
9. Plug the Samsung dryer back into the wall and turn it back on. Make sure the drum is spinning correctly and that the belt is running without any issues.
