To replace the curre ...nt track, pull out the pantry drawers inside of the refrigerator, and then remove the glass shelf the drawers were sitting on. Place the glass shelf upside down on a stable work space and press in the tabs holding the old left track in place with a flat head screwdriver. Install the new track by snapping it into place. This SxS Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat is a safety device that clips onto the evaporator in the freezer. The Defrost Thermostat turns off the defrost heater in case it gets ...too warm in the freezer section. If your refrigerator does not defrost, both the thermostat and heater can be tested to determine which part is at fault. Note that a multimeter (item 964740) can be used to test for continuity to determine if the thermostat is defective and requires replacement. This part includes 6" leads.
