Remove the cardboard back from the bottom of the refrigerator to access this part and remove the copper tubing. Place a towel down to catch any dripping water. The old valve has screw on compression fittings, whereas the new valve has press and lock fittings. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the refrigerator and novice repair experience.
