If your refrigerator's ice maker cover is cracked or damaged, replacing ...this part may alleviate the issue. In order to access the ice maker, remove the ice maker service cover by separating its pins from the brackets holding it into place. You'll then need to remove the whole ice maker to remove the ice maker cover. The cover simply pulls off of the ice maker.
