Step 1: Unplug the LG Washer from the wall outlet and move it away from the wall.
Step 2: Remove the screws that attach the back panel to the washer. Depending on your model, these screws may be Phillips head or Torx head screwdrivers.
Step 3: Once the back assembly is detached, you will be able to access the rear outer tub ball bearing seal.
Step 4: Using a flat-headed screwdriver, carefully pry off the old seal from the washer's main bearing races.
Step 5: Now, carefully slide in the new seal by pressing it onto the bearing races. Make sure to secure it evenly and firmly.
Step 6: Reattach the back panel to the washer using the screws you removed earlier.
Step 7: Plug the LG Washer into the wall outlet once again and put it in its original position.
Step 8: Check the seal to confirm that it is secure and properly installed before running a cycle.
