DIY Instructions for Replacing the AKC72949319 LG Refrigerator Freezer Ice Bucket Bin Assembly
1. Unplug the refrigerator from its power source and remove any food items that may be in the refrigerator.
2. Remove the shelves, door bins and freezer drawer from your refrigerator.
3. Open the freezer door and locate the ice bucket bin assembly near the left side of the freezer opening.
4. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws holding the ice bucket bin assembly in place.
5. Disconnect the electrical plug from the old ice bucket bin assembly and remove it from the freezer.
6. Replace the old unit with the new one by inserting the new ice bucket bin into the freezer compartment.
7. Secure the new ice bucket bin to the mounting bracket using four screws.
8. Reconnect the electrical plug to the new ice bucket bin assembly.
9. Replace the shelves, door bins and freezer drawer.
10. Plug the refrigerator back into its power source.
