DIY Instructions for Replacing the 4930EL3001A LG Dryer Terminal Block
Tools Needed:
• Phillips screwdriver
• Needle nose pliers
• Flathead screwdriver
• Wire cutters
• New 4930EL3001A terminal block
Instructions:
1. Unplug the dryer from the power outlet and remove the back panel of the dryer.
2. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws that secure the existing terminal block to the mounting plate.
3. Pull the wires away from the existing terminal block and use the needle nose pliers to remove each terminal from the block.
4. Cut the wires and strip ½” of insulation from the ends of each wire.
5. Connect the wires to the new 4930EL3001A terminal block using the flathead screwdriver.
6. Secure the new terminal block to the mounting plate using the Phillips screwdriver.
7. Replace the back panel of the dryer and plug the dryer back into power outlet.
