Step by Step Instructions for Replacing a WH1X2734 GE Washer Lid Switch Actuator
1. Unplug the power cord from the wall.
Remove the lid of the washer.
2. Unscrew the two screws on either side of the existing lid switch actuator (WH1X2734).
3. Lift off the lid switch actuator and disconnect the wires.
4. Connect the new lid switch actuator's wires to the same terminal locations as the old switch.
5. Place the new lid switch actuator in the same location as the old one and secure with the two screws.
6. Reattach the washer lid.
7. Plug the power cord back into the wall.
8. Test the new lid switch actuator by opening and closing the lid to ensure it is working properly.
