-GE WH13X23974 Valve Triple Water
-Screwdriver
-Sink Plunger
-Safety Goggles
Step 1: Turn off the power source for the washing machine before you begin. Locate the fuse box and switch off the breaker or unscrew the fuse.
Step 2: Unplug the washing machine from the wall socket and remove the hose connected to it. Use a sink plunger to clear the lines connected to the valve triple water.
Step 3: Take off the top lid of the washing machine by removing the plastic screws on each side. Carefully remove the wires connected inside the machine and set aside.
Step 4: Use a screwdriver to remove the mounting brackets of the valve triple water. Then lift out the valve and replace it with the new GE WH13X23974 valve triple water.
Step 5: Connect all the components back together starting with the wires, followed by the mounting brackets, and finally tighten the screws on the top lid.
