Instructions to Replace a WH02X10265 GE Bearing Split Ring
1. Turn off the power to the appliance and disconnect it from the power source.
2. Open up the access panel on the back of the appliance, where you can locate the bearing split ring. On some models, you may need to remove several screws to open the panel.
3. Using needle-nose pliers, carefully pry open the existing bearing split ring and remove the ring.
4. Take the new WH02X10265 GE bearing split ring and fit it into the same area from which you removed the existing ring.
5. Using your pliers, press down lightly on the bearing split ring to ensure it is securely in place.
6. Close the access panel and reattach it firmly with the appropriate screws.
7. Reconnect the appliance to its power source and turn it back on to test the new bearing split ring.
