If you have the flexible fill line, you can remove the old valve before disconnecting the water line. Be sure to clean out the threads and add new pipe dope to the brass fitting connected to the old valve before transferring it to the new valve. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the water supply under the sink.
