To secure the bolt into the new agitator before installing, turn the agitator upside down and put the new bolt in position. This assembly includes both the upper and lower parts of the agitator. Replacing this part will require basic tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part.
