This Front Load Washer Shock Absorber minimizes vibrations and movements of the outer washer tub. Your washer has 4 shock absorbers - 2 in the front of the tub and 2 in the ba ...ck. If your tub is shaking during operation, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. To access this part, you’ll need to remove the hose and the back panel behind the machine. Simply turn the existing part 90 degrees on the top and bottom to release if from the appliance. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washer and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washer or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also be sure to shut off the hot and cold water supplies.
