You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn the water supply off to the water and place a towel down when removing the cold fill hose from the valve. Recommended Item: Consider replacing the hot and cold Fill Hoses (item 8212487RP) at the same time you complete this repair.
