To access the part, you'll first need to remove the drive belt by tilting the machine back (rest it on something secure or have a friend assist). Remove the drive belt at the bottom of the washer by rotate the transmission pulley counter clockwise and pulling out on the edge of the belt. Then you will disassemble the rest of the washer including the front panel. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the washing machine and novice repair experience. You must unplug the washing machine or shut off the house circuit breaker for the appliance before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off your hot and cold water supplies.
