DIY Instructions for Replacing the 00491678 Bosch Washer SUMP TUB TO PUMP HOSE with CHECK VALVE
1. Turn off the power to your washing machine. Unplug the machine or switch off the circuit breaker.
2. Place a bucket underneath the hose connection to catch any water that may drip out.
3. Disconnect the inlet and outlet hoses from the washer sump tub by loosening the clamps using a screwdriver.
4. Install a new check valve onto the sump tub pipe and secure it with the provided clamps. Ensure the check valve is pointed in the correct direction before tightening the clamps.
5. Reconnect the hoses to the sump tub, making sure that the clamps are tightened securely.
6. Turn on the power to the washing machine and test the operation to ensure the new check valve is working correctly.
7. If everything is working correctly, turn off the power and remove the bucket from beneath the hose connection.
