This Oven Lower Bake Element is a replacement part that provides constant heat from the lower oven when cooking. To remove the oven bottom when accessing the old bake element, pull it forward first, then up and out. When removing the old element and disconnecting the wires, make sure you don't allow the wires to fall back into the oven wall.
