The Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly is a replacement for your refrigerator's ice maker. The ice maker receives water from the water inlet valve and then holds the water in the ... ice mold until the water freezes solid. It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage is full. If your ice maker isn't working as expected, replacing this part may alleviate the issue. Note that you will need to re-use the auger arm, cover and bracket from your existing ice maker to properly install the new assembly.
