1. Begin by unplugging your Samsung washer from the wall outlet and turning off the water supply connected to the unit.
2. Put on safety goggles and gloves to protect yourself, then remove the screws holding the inner wash tub in place with a Phillips head screwdriver.
3. Lower the wash tub and locate the DC97-14875B Samsung washer drum flange spider and shaft assembly. This will be located in the center of the inner tub.
4. Remove the screws securing the drum flange spider and shaft assembly.
5. Disconnect the belt connected to the motor pulley and slide the old assembly away.
6. Place the new DC97-14875B Samsung washer drum flange spider and shaft assembly in its place and secure it with the screws.
7. Reconnect the belt to the motor pulley and tighten it.
8. Lift the inner tub back into position and secure it with the screws.
9. Turn on the water supply to the washer and plug the unit back into the wall outlet.
10. Test the Samsung washer to ensure the DC97-14875B Samsung washer drum flange spider and shaft assembly is working correctly.
