DIY Steps to Replace an LG Range Oven Temperature Thermistor Sensor (Part # EBG61305805)
Step 1: Unplug the power cord to the range oven and turn off the circuit breaker to ensure that the appliance will not be powered while performing this repair.
Step 2: Disconnect the wires from the old thermistor sensor. Once done, remove the mounting clip from the back panel of the oven.
Step 3: Remove the old thermistor sensor from the oven wall.
Step 4: Take the new thermistor sensor (Part # EBG61305805) and connect it to the wiring. Secure the wiring with the provided mounting clip.
Step 5: Install the new thermistor sensor in the oven wall, making sure that it is properly secured.
Step 6: Plug the power cord back into the range oven and turn on the circuit breaker.
Step 7: Test the oven temperature by setting the desired temperature and monitoring until it reaches the correct temperature. If the oven temperature does not reach the desired level, you may need to repeat the steps above or contact a qualified technician for further assistance.
