Step 1: Gather the necessary tools and supplies. You will need a Phillips head screwdriver, a flat-blade screwdriver, a replacement LG CJT30000002 SW Rewriter Assembly, and safety glasses.
Step 2: Unplug your computer and disconnect all cables from it.
Step 3: Take off the cover of the LG CD/DVD drive. This can be done by unscrewing the screws located on the side of the drive.
Step 4: Use the flat-blade screwdriver to carefully remove the circuit board and take out the LG CJT30000002 SW Rewriter Assembly.
Step 5: Place the new LG CJT30000002 SW Rewriter Assembly in the computer and secure it with screws.
