DIY Instructions on Replacing the 383EEL3002A LG Gas Dryer Converter LP Liquid Propane Conversion Kit
1. Turn off the gas supply to the dryer. Turn the knob on the top of the dryer clockwise until it is completely closed.
2. Unplug the dryer from the wall socket.
3. Remove the lint filter and open the dryer door.
4. Locate the gas valve and disconnect the gas line from the valve.
5. Unscrew the screws on the top, front, and side panels of the dryer and remove the panels.
6. Detach the wiring harnesses from the back of the dryer.
7. Remove the gas valve from the back of the dryer.
8. Install the new LG 383EEL3002A LP conversion kit.
9. Connect the wiring harnesses to the new conversion kit.
10. Secure the gas line to the new conversion kit.
11. Reattach the panels on the dryer.
12. Plug the dryer back into the outlet.
13. Turn the knob on the top of the dryer counterclockwise until it is completely open.
14. Test the dryer to make sure that it works properly.
