Step 1: Unplug the power cord to the appliance and turn off the circuit breaker controlling the appliance.
Step 2: Locate the evaporation coil inside the appliance. This is a metal panel with coils used for cooling and freezing.
Step 3: Remove the screws holding the metal panel in place. You may need a flathead screwdriver or Phillips head screwdriver, depending on the type of screws used.
Step 4: Remove the old fan blade by unscrewing the blade from the motor shaft.
Step 5: Clean the evaporator fan blade before installing the new one.
Step 6: Install the new fan blade and ensure that it is firmly secured to the motor shaft.
Step 7: Reassemble the metal panel and replace all screws.
Step 8: Plug the power cord back into the appliance and turn the circuit breaker back on.
Step 9: Test the new fan blade to ensure it is working properly.
