1. Begin by gathering the necessary supplies: a new GE WD24X29378 High Loop Drain Hose, slip-joint pliers, adjustable wrench, and Teflon tape.
2. Shut off the water supply to the washing machine and disconnect the water supply hoses.
3. Place a bucket underneath the hose connection to catch any water that may drip out.
4. Use slip-joint pliers to loosen the clamp securing the old drain hose to the washer and wiggle it off.
5. Wrap Teflon tape around the threads of the new drain hose fitting.
6. Securely attach the new hose to the washer with an adjustable wrench.
7. Reconnect the water supply hoses and turn on the water supply.
8. Check for leaks and tighten the connection if needed.
9. Run a cycle to test the new drain hose for proper function.
