DIY Replacement of GE Range Cooktop Burner Receptacle Block Kit (WB17X210)
Tools needed:
-Philips screwdriver
-Pliers
-Wire cutters
-Wire strippers
Instructions:
1. Unplug the appliance from its power source before beginning the repair.
2. Locate the GE Range Cooktop Burner Receptacle Block Kit (WB17X210).
3. Remove the screws securing the burner frame and the old receptacle block in place.
4. Remove the old receptacle block and discard it.
5. Carefully detach the wires from the old receptacle block.
6. Detach the wires from the burner frame with a pair of pliers.
7. Cut the wires to the required length with wire cutters and strip away about an inch of insulation from each end.
8. Attach the new GE Range Cooktop Burner Receptacle Block Kit (WB17X210) by inserting the stripped ends of the wires into the terminal block.
9. Secure the new receptacle block with the screws provided.
10. Reattach the burner frame with the screws you removed earlier.
