The Oven Door Bandits Strike again

Recently, a band of criminals known as the Oven Door Bandits has been cleaning up by stealing oven doors. It appears these crooks have noticed that trends in modern kitchen design and modern flat screen tvs are converging.

The scam goes like this: The crooks steal an appropriate oven door. Repackage it in a box labeled with the brand name of a popular retailer, and throw in a generic remote. Then they sell it to an unsuspecting buyer, usually out of the back of a car in a parking lot, or at a bank.
